"extra Bal"l is an audiovisual attachment that takes us,through interaction, into the innards of the machine, into its very subconscious. It questions our need to be in control of our trajectory, and to deal with chance, or to thwart the arbitrary.
« A pinball remake », rebuild for a new finished object, a new machine with all notions of game-play (fun / challenge of the game), and an overall consistency in the interconnection of artistic fields committed to the stimulation of images, sounds, texts and the course of the game.
Game of mastery, set of influences : what brings us together around the pinball is a gamesharing principle of challenging the machine (desire to master the random chance), challenging ourselves « putting oneself at stake », « taking the risk ». Surrounded by the stimulating environment of the game, the player gives all power to his inner calculation system, which drives him to always prove that he has the upper hand over his destiny. Will he succeed?
Trajectory game : the machine is also powerful and can have a certain degree of
decisional autonomy in its hidden depths made of circuits. The machine expresses itself through narrative compositions which are triggered depending on the game played. Keywords are generated at different stages of the game according to the trajectories of

The performance Stabat Mater Furiosa created in March 2008, and for
which I am pleased to be on stage at the sides of the actress Catriona
Morrison, was performed at "La Caserne des pompiers" in AVIGNON festival 2009. This performance is available in english version.
Performances in tour : Le parvis des ondes, and Stabat Mater Furiosa in french and english version.
My instrument and work with the sensors continues to be developed. by the musical assistant Carl Faia who work again for the development of the tool dedicated to the sound processing via the sensors. That mean more freedom and of flexibility in my interpretation, an opening to other colors in the compositions, and an ergonomics growing for projects based on the improvisation with real time processing. Residence from september 12th 2010 at Ars Numérica of Montbéliard.
Structuration : Catherine Mortier is now in charge of productions for Sound Trackcompany, continue the work. Thanks to its meticulous work, to support my work and the one of all the artists of the company. A very good news for the incoming projects and for all the artists working with the Company.

A thirty years page turned
I performed in December, 2009 for my last Art Zoyd creation "Kaïro" because I have just quit after 30 years of collaboration.
Choices comes strongers and are ways becomes differents
The time to turn over a new life is coming.
I wish good luck to all my collaborators, and send all my wishes to Gérard Hourbette to continue according to his deep aspirations this marvellous and audacious adventure Art Zoyd in which he choose to dedicate his life.

Born 3rd November 1958 in Chaumont, Haute Marne, France.
Trained as a classical and jazz pianist; begun working with Gérard Hourbette and Art Zoyd in 1979 with whom she has recorded 14 albums. In 1982 worked with Jacques Thollot. As a compositor, has collaborated with the theatre directors Jean Deloche, Sarah Harper, Beda Percht, Evelyne Beyghau, François Levé, the choreographers Danièle Paume, Catherine Lanoir, Jean-Yves Ginoux, Hervé Diasnas and the film directors Michel Scheider, Alain Ries, Marie Ka, Andréas Rathgeb and Alexandre Doisenet. A meeting with graphic designer Malte Martin for the performance of Instant Mobile inspired her to experiment with new ideas for visual arts, which Patricia then continued to explore with the Internet painter Nicolas Clauss, working on interactive modules like Le gardien du Temps or Les marcheurs, in collaboration with Chaïtane Conversat. These close encounters with the visual world, as well as confirming a continual cinematographic influence in her musical constructions, also reveal a perceptible line of expressionistic, emotional and poetical shadings that have always coloured Patricia’s music.
Patricia has continued to compose for Art Zoyd, alongside Gérard Hourbette and Kasper Toeplitz for Metropolis, La Nuit de Jabberwock, Armageddon and La chute de la maison Uscher. In 1991, co-founded Sound Track with Cyril Dumontet (music for Image and Gesture), whose aim is to support contemporary musical creations associated with any form of visual art. As well as taking artistic gambles, Patricia has also been known to take political stands, with works like Chantier sonographique in 2004, a performance that used the voices of the inhabitants of a block of flats demolished back in 1995, or D’où vient l’eau des puits? An album militating for the truth regarding a nuclear waste ground built in Champagne-Ardenne. Patricia has composed and produced seven albums.
In 2006/2007, conceived and directed two performance arts events: La Teneur de l’air, a concert for keyboard and sensors with the musician Yukari Bertocchi-Hamada and lighting designer Thierry Robert, and Le Parvis des ondes, a short piece for Keyboard, Sensors and dance by Hervé Diasnas, which ran for three weeks in the 2007 Avignon theatre festival, sharing the Caserne des Pompiers performance space together with six other companies from the Champagne-Ardenne region.
In 2008, composed Sommeil en sib for Cie Éclats d’États as well as composing the music for, performing in Stabat Mater Furiosawith Catriona Morrison and Yves Lenoir and with Bise l'assaut, écluse N°13, a visual an musical performance with Nicolas Clauss. She introduces in 2009 a workshop entitled ((OW-AO)) around the work of Antoine Schmitt"Time Slip" for which she invites many artists, musicians and visual artists.

her role within the band Art Zoyd, Patricia has followed
a solo career. Her musical world is both entrancing
and worrying. The last album "L' encre des voix
secrètes" is a very good example of it...
"L'encre des voix secrètes" atmosphere is indeed
based on mechanical rhythms, humanised by women voices,
which sound like whispers beyond the wall of a machines
room. It is running around, hoping to actually meet
the machine-woman. She is fragile although she is powerful.
She is violent and panting like a wounded animal. The
voices are samples and are perfectly mixed with the
music, which accentuates the fragility and the tension...
I can not say better that it is an excellent album,
whose music is midway between contemporary music and

"I've had a while now to get to grips with the
latest Patricia Dallio CD "L'encre Des Voix Secrètes"
and before I tell you that it is also "Brilliant"
you must understand that, for me, the sun always shines
brightly from Patricia's piano stool. This music should
appeal to fans of Art Zoyd who have followed and appreciated
their recent works. Patricia Dallio has linked her talents
to the Sound Track ensemble. A conglomerate of artists
offering their trade as a possible compliment to visual
works of art. (see Ork alarm 26). Possibly as a consequence
of this involvement or perhaps due to coincidence, this
CD, like many of Patricia's and Art Zoyd's, lends itself
neatly to the world of "Film Sound Track"
music. This music will not be to everyone's taste. Many
Magma / Zeuhl fans would be forgiven for questioning
whether this style is "musically valid" at
all. On first analysis this outing seems much closer
to the Avant-Garde world than Patricia's first CD "Procession".
However after further inspection "L'encre Des Voix
Secrètes" shows it's full colours. The minimal
use of rhythm and melody is evident and leaves the listener
desperate for more musical "crumbs" but you
are given seem to take on extra significance.
I've always hoped that tracks from the "Procession"
CD will one day make a great sound track for the film
of my all time favourite Sci-Fi book "The Many
Colored land" by Julian May. Likewise I'm sure
"L'encre Des Voix Secrètes" would make
an ideal backdrop to many a future horror film. Many
of the tracks conjure up sinister dark images, one in
particular is marvellously disturbing! I'm not sure
I'd recommend this CD as an introduction to Patricia
Dallio but as long as the listener had an AZ open mind
then perhaps it wouldn't really matter. Dallio can certainly
be descibed as an "acquired taste". But then
I suppose you could say the same about any of the musicians
featured in Ork Alarm! Recommended, but as usual with
this style of music, only repeated plays will offer
